If you use CrossLoop to remotely access your desktop computer — or assist friends, family, and clients — you’ve now got one more way to get connected. Those of you who also own an Android device can beta test CrossLoop’s new app, which brings a good bit of the desktop app’s functionality to your smartphone

New users will need to create a CrossLoop account to try out the app, and you’ll need also an annual subscription to keep using it (a free trial is available). Subscriptions start at $19.95.

Start off by installing both androidVNC and CrossLoop Remote Access for the Android. If you are having issues with the install or would like more detail, please see these helpful instructions:

After installing the two applications, you will see a login screen. Please login with your CrossLoop account.

Android loginIf you do not have an account, tap Help, where you will be able to get a Free Trial of CrossLoop Remote Access.

Android account requiredAfter clicking on Start free trial, you will be asked to login or register.

Android free trial loginIn order to activate your free trial, you must create a CrossLoop account and activate the trial. To do so, please check your email and activate the trial.

Android free trial loginFrom your PC, login on with your email and password, and then click Add this Computer to the list.

Empty My Computers listThen login on the Android App. You should now see the PC in the list. Just tap on the computer name to connect!
