NVIDIA发布Linux显卡驱动260.19.36正式版

上周末,NVIDIA对旗下Linux显卡驱动进行了一次升级,放出了最新的260.19.36版本,而且是已经通过认证的正式版,因此推荐Linux系统用户更新。

260.19.36版驱动照例支持Linux、FreeBSD、Solaris 32/64位版本产品全面支持GeForce 6-500系列桌面独立显卡、GeForce Go 7-500M系列笔记本独立显卡、Quadro系列专业显卡、Tesla系列高性能计算卡、ION离子平台,也就是涵盖了NVIDIA近年来的几乎所有显卡产品(详见附录)。

具体更新内容倒不是很多,只有三条:

1、更新NVIDIA内核模式,确保其分配给GPU使用或者NVIDIA驱动程序堆栈用户空间组件内的所有系统 内存均初始化为零,同时新增NVIDIA内核模式选项“InitializeSystemMemoryAllocations”,允许管理员复原此前的行 为。注意该更新不适用于FreeBSD、Solaris。

2、修复启用色彩索引覆盖时导致X Server 1.9及更高版本崩溃的bug。

3、修复色彩索引覆盖中导致像素值255被视为透明的bug。

同时有消息称,全新的270系列Linux显卡驱动即将诞生,首个测试版本270.18不日就会放出,但更新详情未知。
