QEMU 1.0发布

Just as expected, QEMU 1.0 was officially released this week. QEMU 1.0 offers up some new features in the virtualization world.

Last month I mentioned the QEMU 1.0 release was coming quite soon and sure enough it did. QEMU 1.0 was released on Thursday per the planned release schedule.

Among the QEMU 1.0 changes is support for SCSI block devices — including block device pass-through — and a new Tiny Code Interpreter (TCI) Feature as talked about in the earlier Phoronix article. All image formats now support a-synchronous operations, there’s other SCSI emulation improvements, support for the new Cortex-A15 (ARM) instructions, and much more.
